COVID-19 UPDATE 1.7.20

Unfortunately, as mentioned in our Wheatsheaf Weekly newsletter, we will not be reopening on 4th July.  To read the full article please click here.  We will keep our social media pages and website updated as and when we have more information.  Thank you for the many messages of support during this uncertain time. We hope to be able to welcome you back to the Best Little Pub in the Village soon. Stay Safe!

There's a particularly warm welcome at the Wheatsheaf - Ewell's wet-only traditional village pub.  Regularly serving four cask marque approved ales and a wide selection of draught and bottled premium lagers and ciders, our bar with ornate glasswork and original fireplaces provides relaxed surroundings for old and new visitors alike.  Our specially selected wines and spirits are all reasonably priced. The Wheatsheaf is dog and children friendly (now with a children's play area) and is ideally positioned for both the Hogsmill river and London loop walks.  We are within a stone's throw of Bourne Hall and the heart of Ewell village and a quarter of a mile from the beautiful Nonsuch Park. We are proud to be associated with the Ewell St. Mary's Morris Men and the Rusty Rovers who perform at the pub throughout the year. To keep up to date with forthcoming events, special offers and current ales like our facebook page, follow us on twitter and sign up to receive our 'Wheaty Weekly' email on the 'About us' page.

If you love great beer, you'll love the Wheatsheaf. Our ales are so fresh we were awarded top marks in our cask marque inspection.

Darren, Kim and the team look forward to welcoming you to our local community pub in the very near future.

Some light entertainment from the Team and Patrons of the Wheatsheaf during the Coronvirus lockdown.  We hope you enjoy it!

Our own little Wheatsheaf made it into the historical transcripts of Parliamentary debates when Chris Grayling, MP for Epsom and Ewell thanked us for being an ongoing community hub.

With the Wheatsheaf remaining closed for the time being, we're delighted to announce that the Virtual Wheatsheaf is carrying on to keep you entertained.

Join us every Monday at 8pm for our popular Quiz Night hosted by Landlord Darren, and celebrate the end of the working week at 5pm every Friday with a trip to our virtual Happy Hour.

It's a bring your own booze policy so grab your nuts or pork scratchings and join us at the best little virtual pub in the village.

Go to the What's on page for our weekly schedule and the links to join in.

On behalf of everyone at The Wheatsheaf we'd like to thank all the NHS staff, Emergency Services, Shop Owners and Workers, Care Workers, Pharmaceutical Staff, Farmers, Teachers, Lorry and Delivery Drivers, Cleaners and Refuse Workers and all the volunteers for keeping our local community ticking over.

These people who regularly go unnoticed have been doing an amazing job in difficult times.

Please be kind to them, thank them and go out of your way to tell them what a brilliant job they're doing.

In these unprecedented times, these are the important people who make a difference to our lives and are doing the crucial jobs we need.

   Stay safe everyone
