There's a particularly warm welcome at the Wheatsheaf - Ewell's only traditional village pub.  Regularly serving four cask marque approved ales and a wide selection of draught and bottled premium lagers and ciders, our bar with ornate glasswork and original fireplaces provides relaxed surroundings for old and new visitors alike.  Our specially selected wines and spirits are all reasonably priced. The Wheatsheaf is dog and children friendly (now with a children's play area) and is ideally positioned for both the Hogsmill river and London loop walks.  We are within a stone's throw of Bourne Hall and the heart of Ewell village and a quarter of a mile from the beautiful Nonsuch Park. We are proud to be associated with the Ewell St. Mary's Morris Men and the Rusty Rovers who perform at the pub throughout the year. To keep up to date with forthcoming events, special offers and current ales like our facebook page, follow us on twitter and sign up to receive our 'Wheaty Weekly' email on the 'About us' page.

If you love great beer, you'll love the Wheatsheaf. Our ales are so fresh we were awarded top marks in our cask marque inspection.

Darren, Kim and the team look forward to welcoming you to our local community pub in the very near future.

Epsom Riding for the Disabled

Team Wheaty had the absolute pleasure of presenting a cheque for £2,715, on behalf of the pub patrons, to the Epsom Riding for the Disabled.

The fantastic sum raised was as a result of all our fund raising activities throughout 2016 with the RDA being our nominated charity.  The money has gone towards adopting a horse called Archie who will provide disabled adults and children the opportunity to ride and care for a horse.  The medical benefits of riding include exercise and strengthening of muscles, mobilises joints and helps the riders develop their balance, independence and sensory perception.

During each year the Epsom school provides over 3,000 rides for over 300 disabled people. The RDA were thrilled with the amount raised posting on Facebook "Thank you so much to all the patrons of the Wheatsheaf in Ewell Village for a fantastic donation of £2,715.  Epsom RDA is so grateful for their support over 2016/17.  An amazing amount from an amazing traditional pub".

Courtyard Garden

The Wheatsheaf's hidden gem is our relaxing courtyard garden.  It's a real sun trap in the summer months and the ideal spot in which to wile away an hour or 2.  We even have a 46" HDTV so you can soak up the rays whilst watching all the latest sports action.

Children's Play Area

We've recently installed a Little Tikes children's play area which offers your little ones with challenging and stimulating play opportunities, whilst you enjoy your drink.

Please note that this area is unsupervised.

The home of live music

Whether it's acoustic sets, Irish sing-a-longs, up and comers, singer songwriters or classic rock bands, the Wheatsheaf has a range of live music events to keep you entertained.

See our What's On page for more information.

Sky and BT Sports

There's no better place to watch the Premier League or Championship football, Rugby Union, Formula 1 or cricket than the Wheatsheaf.

We've got 2 big screens in the pub showing both Sky Sports and BT Sport.  We can split the screens to show 2 simultaneous sporting events.  We've even got a dart board so you can practice your arrow throwing.
