A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE PUB

There's a particularly warm welcome at the Wheatsheaf - Ewell's wet-only traditional village pub.  Regularly serving four cask marque approved ales and a wide selection of draught and bottled premium lagers and ciders, our bar with ornate glasswork and original fireplaces provides relaxed surroundings for old and new visitors alike.  Our specially selected wines and spirits are all reasonably priced. The Wheatsheaf is dog and children friendly (with a children's play area) and is ideally positioned for both the Hogsmill river and London loop walks.  We are within a stone's throw of Bourne Hall and the heart of Ewell village and a quarter of a mile from the beautiful Nonsuch Park. We are proud to be associated with the Ewell St. Mary's Morris Men and the Rusty Rovers who perform at the pub throughout the year. To keep up to date with forthcoming events, special offers and current ales like our facebook page, follow us on twitter and sign up to receive our 'Wheaty Weekly' email on the 'About us' page.

If you love great beer, you'll love the Wheatsheaf. Our ales are so fresh we were awarded top marks in our cask marque inspection.

Dave, Tanya and the team look forward to welcoming you to our local community pub in the very near future.

WE CAN'T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU BACK!

We are thrilled to be opening again and able to welcome you back into our pub garden from Monday 12th April.  While continuing to ensure your safety, we have given our beer garden a complete makeover with new paving, new furniture and a new heated pergola for you to relax and enjoy for those long overdue catch ups with family and friends.

From 12th April until 16th May you can only drink outside and tables can be booked for a party of up to 6 people - Rule of 6 or from 2 households.  Unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate you inside, as per government guidelines.

We are excited to reveal our new outdoor covered seating area but heating is limited and not guaranteed so although it is Spring, we suggest you wrap up warm and BYOB (Bring your own blanket).

We hope to see you soon.                         Dave, Tanya and the team

REOPENING THE WHEATY

When we reopen, it will still be the same Wheaty you know and love but, like every other pub, you might find it a little different due to the government restrictions in place.

All our safety guidelines are still in place and we would ask that you continue to: wear your face covering when making your way to and from the toilets, sanitise your hands on entering and exiting the pub, respect social distancing and scan the Test and Trace QR code on arrival.  We will be operating a full table service and ask for your patience and understanding during busy times.

Our 'flexible and weather dependant' opening                                         hours are                                                Sunday - Thursday midday to 10pm           Friday & Saturday 12pm - 11pm

CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA

Family pubs don’t come much better than the Wheatsheaf.  With 2 outdoor TV's showing live Sky and BT Sport and a children's play area, we firmly believe that our sun trap of a beer garden is the perfect place to spend family time together.

Our Children's Play Area, tucked away at the top of the Wheatsheaf beer garden, has re-opened and is fully equipped with climbing frames, rope ladders, slides and Little Tikes play equipment allowing both big and little kids to enjoy themselves.

We are of the opinion that pubs should be a fun place to come with Mum and Dad or Nan and Grandad, so when you’re looking for that ‘family pub near me’, you can rest assured that our main consideration is to offer a true family pub environment.

Our outdoor play area is a godsend when it comes to giving the parents a chance to relax whilst the kids are entertained.
