A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE PUB

There's a particularly warm welcome at the Wheatsheaf - Ewell's only traditional village pub.  Regularly serving four cask marque approved ales and a wide selection of draught and bottled premium lagers and ciders, our bar with ornate glasswork and original fireplaces provides relaxed surroundings for old and new visitors alike.  Our specially selected wines and spirits are all reasonably priced. The Wheatsheaf is dog and children friendly (now with a children's play area) and is ideally positioned for both the Hogsmill river and London loop walks.  We are within a stone's throw of Bourne Hall and the heart of Ewell village and a quarter of a mile from the beautiful Nonsuch Park. We are proud to be associated with the Ewell St. Mary's Morris Men and the Rusty Rovers who perform at the pub throughout the year. To keep up to date with forthcoming events, special offers and current ales like our facebook page, follow us on twitter and sign up to receive our 'Wheaty Weekly' email on the 'About us' page.

If you love great beer, you'll love the Wheatsheaf. Our ales are so fresh we were awarded top marks in our cask marque inspection.

Darren, Kim and the team look forward to welcoming you to our local community pub in the very near future.

To celebrate St. George's Day we'll be hosting our 5th annual Great Sausage Roll Off. It's all a bit of fun.

All you need to do is to present six home made sausage rolls to a member of bar staff by 6pm on Tuesday 23rd April to enter the contest. In return, all budding bakers will receive a free drink of their choice (within reason) and stand the chance of being crowned Wheaty Sausage Savoury Champion of Champions. We have 3 independent judges on hand to blind taste the entries with the winner being crowned around 6.30pm.

All the other sausage rolls will be handed round the pub for our patrons to enjoy. Come and join us for a great laugh and FREE sausage rolls.

The home of live music

Whether it's acoustic sets, Irish sing-a-longs, up and comers, singer songwriters or classic rock bands, the Wheatsheaf has a range of live music events to keep you entertained.   Our monthly folk session takes place on the third Sunday of every month from 7.30pm and are becoming increasingly more popular. The sessions are friendly and accessible and welcoming to all. The tunes played are generally in D, G and Em and are mainly traditional tunes and we welcome players of all acoustic instruments (no amplification, please).
